OUR HISTORY

Tributary – A Stream or Creek that Feeds the River

Tributary Café – feeds the people who love our Trinity River

This river themed Southern Style restaurant is located in newly revitalized River East, just 3 minutes northeast of downtown. Tributary Café offers fresh seafood, hand cut steaks, and traditional southern fare in non-traditional fashion. Saturday and Sunday Brunch, indoor and outdoor seating, and a full bar can be enjoyed in this circa 1940’s bungalow. Catering and event space also available.

OUR VISION

Tributary Cafe is our ode to the Trinity River.  Here you can relax and enjoy fine southern cuisine in a fun and casual atmosphere.  Traditional favorites and new creations are prepared from scratch daily in a place that could be anywhere, maybe even down where our river meets the Gulf, but most certainly in the South.  Our Tributary family works to ensure quality, flavor, and hospitality while indulging our passion for creativity and imagination.  We proudly serve the freshest seafood in town, hand-cut steaks, Cajun and Creole comfort food, craft beers, and a unique selection of wines that won’t break the bank.

Y’all come on in and let us cook you up somethin’ special!
